Hello there to whom gets to this point on my site,

 

   These songs on all my albums were created by one person, the artist. That's me and my name is J.MichaelPiper...I am LightningFire.

   I have created and made everything you see here on this site as well as designed this website and I've done it all with just one arm and hand to use, basically I am disabled but I have enough of a will power and drive and desire to do this and keep doing this and not wait for others to help me out or wait for anyone to take part in helping progress this music project...

   So now you know the gritty bit of how this place exists, and I only have the one arm and hand because of a car accident a few years ago in 2000 that caused extensive nerve damage to my right shoulder and spine and my right arm causing 70% loss of use of my right arm and hand. It caused me to retire my career as a top drummer for what I did for almost 38 years and that sucks, but at least I was able to survive the accident whereas my best friend and phenomenal guitarist lost his life...

Rest In Peace John Edward Grossman.

   So as you can now know, sacrifices have happened and I have paid the high price of paying the Piper, literally, physically and mentally but with no regrets because I feel I was blessed with more than just the talents I have...but none of what you see and hear on this site from now forward was not possible, if it wasn't for that accident when the Limo that belonged to The Hilton Hotel Casino in Las Vegas hit us going through a red light...if that had never happened I would probably be playing drums in a world class band by now and who knows how far my career would have gone to.

   But I'm over that and am happy that I lived and have been able to create and make my own brand of music, AND able to do it all by myself. I taught myself how to play the guitar with my limited means, and I self taught myself how to record what I play and write lyrics to my music, compose the drums and bass guitar in order to complete the songs that I create and also record my vocals singing the lyrics I write for the music I make. All that shit hasn't been easy, but as I've always been able to look a challenge right in the eye and take it on...so that's what this website is all about.
